About

The "Mighty Mo" was the last Iowa-class battleship but by the United States, launched in 1944. She was named in honor of the state of Missouri and was the site of the Japanese empire's surrender in Tokyo Bay on September 2nd, 1945. The Missouri also served in both the Korean War in 1950- 1955 and the Gulf War in 1991.

Aboard the USS Missouri there will be a 35-minute docent lead introduction to the ship. Afterwards, you will be free to explore at your leisure. Experience the ship’s massive capabilities and weaponry as you explore above and below deck. See if you have what it takes to hold command of the ship on the bridge!

Ford Island access

The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is located on Ford Island, an active military base. There are public shuttles operated by the NPS running every 15 minutes from the Pearl Harbor Visitors Center. Some tour operators have security clearance and can provide private transportation to Ford Island. No bags are permitted within any vehicle entering Ford Island.
